AI プロダクト品質保証コンソーシアム（英⽂名：Consortium of Quality Assurance for Artificial-Intelligence-based products and services, 略称：QA4AI コンソーシアム）を2018年4月1日に設立いたしました。 

2022年2月21日に人工知能学会より第2回 AI ELSI賞（Practice部門）を受賞いたしました。

2023年10月18日、AIプロダクト品質保証コンソーシアム(QA4AI)の運営委員長である西康晴氏が急逝されました。西氏はAI(機械学習)の品質保証を、今後の重要な社会課題と捉え、2018年にQA4AIを発起し、その活動を献身的に牽引されてきました。生成AIを含むAI技術の急速な進展が続く中、QA4AIは西氏の志を引き継ぎ、AIプロダクトを安心して社会で活用していくための議論と情報発信を続けていきます。 

The consortium of Quality Assurance for Artificial-Intelligence-based products and services (QA4AI Consortium) was established on 1st April 2018 in Japan. It consists of industry and academia members. We published and are updating the QA4AI Guideline, which is the first guideline in Japan for quality assurance of AI-based products and services. 

Our QA4AI activities received AI ELSI award (practice category) from JSAI (The Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence) on 21st February 2022.

On October 18, 2023, Dr. Yasuharu Nishi, Chair of the Steering Committee of the  QA4AI consortium, passed away. Dr. Nishi saw quality assurance of AI (machine learning) as an important social issue for the future and initiated the QA4AI in 2018, and was a dedicated leader of its activities. As AI technologies, including generative AI, continue to make rapid progress, the QA4AI will take over Dr. Nishi's aspirations and continue to discuss and disseminate information to ensure that AI products can be used in society with confidence.
